每年農曆七月，佛門稱為「孝道月」，也是大眾慎終追遠、感念親恩、廣修福慧的重要時節。
The seventh lunar month is known in Buddhism as the Month of Filial Piety, a time to honour our ancestors, remember the kindness of our parents, and cultivate blessings and wisdom.
供僧道糧，源於佛陀時代信眾以清淨心供養僧寶，護持僧團安心辦道、弘法利生。大眾隨喜供僧，不僅是以飲食資具護持僧眾修行，更是成就佛法久住、廣利有情的殊勝因緣。
Offering to the Sangha is a longstanding Buddhist practice of supporting monastics in their cultivation and Dharma propagation.
佛經云：「僧如大地，能長養一切善法功德。」
星雲大師曾開示：
「供僧是供養全年，不只是供養一天；是供養十方，不只是供養一人；是供養未來，不只是供養現在；是供養學道，不只是供養熱鬧。」
Venerable Master Hsing Yun once taught:
“To offer to the Sangha is to offer for the whole year, not just for one day; to offer to the Sangha in all directions, not just to one person; to offer to the future, not just to the present; to support the cultivation of the Path, not merely the bustle of an occasion.”
南天寺誠邀大眾於孝道月隨喜發心，供養僧眾道糧，護持弘法事業。每一份發心，皆是護持正法久住、廣結善緣的清淨功德；並願以此功德，上報四重恩，下濟三途苦，回向父母師長、歷代宗親與現世眷屬，祈願亡者離苦得樂，生者福壽康寧，福慧增長，同霑法益。
